This building presents an alternative to the archetypal community development in Bancroft, Ontario. A shape that is a response to site conditions and not pre-established styles,  offers diverse housing, commercial, and community spaces, getting to include the diverse stakeholders that would be engaging with this development.

The Nest location at the main street of Bancroft, would revitalize the  redefine the emotional response and connection with the area of the town, which is currently lacking of connection from the visitors and affecting the economic development.

A community space providing information about different outdoor activities in the Town and its surroundings would increase the traffic of the commuters in this area, allowing for engagement with commerce and community, while the different kind of housing typologies offers an opportunities for diverse stakeholders.
