The involvement in this project started with the selective demolition of the house for a renovation and addition, becoming later in the construction of a completely new house with only some of the foundation of the previous that wasn't removed. After the architectural design and the construction of the new house, the involvement on the project started again.
This participation on this project was mainly Interior design, creating an open concept contemporary kitchen that would give meaning and personality to all the house.
It was clear that designing a kitchen in a modern house is not an isolated task, making things such as floor selection matching all the programs of the first floor of the house an important factor when sourcing materials, being the ground floor the most important social moment of this modern dwelling.
With some small changes, it was possible to bring this concept to life, and give the sleek personality that the family living on this house needed.
